Zakynthos Beaches

The gulf where Argasi Beach is located is stunning at night as you drive back from Vassilikos to Zakynthos. Both the small town of Argasi and the main city of Zakynthos can be seen.

Vasilikos is located 13 km from the city

Porto Zoro beach is located 17 kilometers from Zakynthos' capital and offers visitors a unique swimming experience in a peaceful environment away from the noisy crowds in the island's center. Behind the beach, there are a few taverns and some rooms for rent.

Plaka is a small beach near the village of Vassilikos, at the tip of the Vassilikos Peninsula. Plaka is a nice beach for relaxing and safe for children, with a sandy coast and shallow clean water. There are a few rocks scattered about, but they are easily avoided.e island's center. Behind the beach, there are a few taverns and some rooms for rent.

Agios Nikolaos beach, named after a tiny whitewashed chapel that stands above the beach, is located on the southeastern part of the island, approximately 32 kilometers from Zakynthos Town. It is one of the most popular beaches on the island, and the area is filled with amenities such as lodging, taverns, restaurants, bars, and water sport centers.

Gerakas is the island's southernmost beach and unquestionably one of its most beautiful. It is made up of a long sand tongue that ends in a small promontoryGeraka diving into the sea.

Kalamaki is 6 kilometers south of Zakynthos town, at the eastern end of the Laganas Bay. Kalamaki is a small and crowded resort popular with families and water sports enthusiasts.

The large beach of Laganas is one of Zakynthos' most popular and cosmopolitan resorts, located 9 kilometers north of the main town. The settlement is built around a natural bay that is lined with sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as toilets and canteens.

Lithakia or Agios Sostis beach is located on the island of Zakynthos' southern coast, about 10 kilometers from Zakynthos Town, in the middle of Laganas and Porto Koukla.

Keri is located on the southwest side of the island, 15 kilometers from Zakynthos and 12 kilometers from the airport. Herodotus refers to it as a region that combines the sea, pine forests, valleys, and streams. Keri has been the target of pirates and conquerors on numerous occasions in the past.

Makris Gialos Beach is 30 kilometers north of Zakynthos town. Because it is unorganized, the beach is rarely crowded in the summer. Makris Gialos beach, on the other hand, has a sandy beach and clear waters that are ideal for snorkeling.

Alykes has a beautiful sandy beach that attracts many visitors due to its amazing sand and crystalline waters. The main road that runs through the settlement is lined with restaurants, bars, and tourist shops.

Katrаgaki is a small rocky beach located on the east coast of Zaynths, north of Silivi. The name derives from the nearby village of Ragаki, and Kato rаgaкi translates as "Lоwеr Trаgai." The area is wild, and there is nothing else around the beach except a few large hotels.

Tsilivi is one of Zakynthos' most well-known beaches. It is located on the island's east coast, about 7 kilometers from Zante town. It's mostly sandy, with a few small pebbles thrown in for good measure. In front of hotels, there are sunbeds and sun loungers, as well as a few lively beach bars with an entertaining atmosphere. There are also quiet areas of the beach where you can lay your towel and relax in the sun.
